I have been waiting for nearly three weeks for service of a failing sewer pump by an established local firm that I used for years. When they came, without much trying they suggested somebody else needs to pump out the stuff and they will come a week later. So, I called Quality Service Today, and they (Aris and Garrett) came within two hours, and in 5 minutes found out that the pump was OK, just blocked, activated it, made the thing running in another 10 minutes, inspected the whole system and gave recommendations for further repairs. Competent, willing, and efficient. Not necessarily very cheap though, but who is, these days.

Had some work being done at my house today and the guys accidentally cut our water line with their trencher. After I shut off the water at the meter, I started calling local plumbers for an emergency repair. I left a message for one and was told by the next one that they could only come tomorrow. I then called Quality Service Today and spoke with Jennifer. After a short wait, she told me that someone could be here between 3:00 & 5:00; was 2:20 at the time. I then began to analyze the septic tank and came to the conclusion that it was about time to get it pumped. I then gave the homeowner multiple upfront options and after signature approval I began to pump. Once complete I cleaned up all tools and materials.

Upon further diagnosis I came to the conclusion that the sink was indeed clogged and that the toilet handle was broken. I didn’t proceeded to give the homeowner upfront pricing and options to get these issues fixed today. Homeowner decided to go ahead and have me do the work to get the issue resolved. After probing for 30-45 min I encountered a lot of concrete in the area that was not the septic tank. To precisely find and not have to dig up unnecessary parts of the yard I made them aware that we would need to locate it.

I arrived today to finish minor details on the Tankless Install from Tuesday. I have spray painted the outdoor gas line black, using a rust inhibitor coating. I also went through the crawlspace and labeled the gas line with “natural gas 2 psig” stickers. The tankless has been functioning well and the worked previous performed is still in working order. As soon as the outlet for the unit is installed, we can proceed with final inspection through Carrboro.

I then gave them an option to pump out exactly 1000 gallons and told them that’s the maximum capacity for the truck. After signature approval I pumped out a 1000 gallons. Upon completion I cleaned up all tools and materials.
Upon arrival to the home the homeowner made me aware that nothing in the house was draining properly. The homeowner also stated that they just had their tank pumped three weeks ago and it is full again. After checking both sides of the tank I found that there is no filter on the tank and that the tank is definitely full and needs to be pumped again. We have scheduled for our septic specialist to come out tomorrow and pump the tank and we have also scheduled for our camera specialist to come out and inspect the tank once it’s empty to figure out exactly why it keeps backing up.

I’ll begin by running my drain machine through two of the master bathroom sinks and ensuring that they were flowing properly. I then proceeded to go downstairs and change the cartridge on the hall widespread faucet. Due to the age of the Faucet changing out the cartridge did not fix the issue and the faucet will need to be replaced at some point in time. The water is shut off on the hot side to the faucet at the time being so that it does not drip. The customer would like for me to send him estimates to replace the Faucet . I then proceeded to shut the water off to the home at the street and drain down all the water from the home. I then proceeded to install the mowing flow underneath the home.
